Subsidies

Subsidies

You can receive a subsidy from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) for all insulation measures in this campaign. The materials that the companies use meet the subsidy conditions. There are subsidies for:

> Owner/occupants

> Owners associations

> Residential landlords

Here we provide a brief explanation of the subsidies. For all information, see the RVO website.

Owner/occupant

The Investment Subsidy for Sustainable Energy and Energy Savings (ISDE) is for homeowners who live in their own home. As an owner/occupier, you can receive a subsidy from the RVO for all insulation measures included in this campaign. The subsidy is an amount per m2. If you take 2 measures, these amounts per m2 double. The 2 measures must be carried out within 24 months. The RVO sets requirements for the insulation values: how much heat do you keep inside. This is expressed in an R-value. Most insulation materials have a minimum R-value of 3.5. The higher the R-value, the better the insulation. The RVO sets minimum requirements for the area that you must insulate: for example 8 m2 of glass or 20 m2 of floor or roof. There are also maximum areas for which you can receive a subsidy: for example, a maximum of 200 m2 of roof or 130 m2 of floor. You must have the measures carried out by a contractor/installer. You will not receive a subsidy if you do it yourself. You will not receive a subsidy on new parts of your house. So if you have a new dormer window installed, you will not receive a subsidy for its insulation. On the RVO website you will find lists of materials that are eligible for a subsidy. The materials have a reporting code. You will not receive a subsidy without a reporting code on the invoice.

Association of Owners

You can apply for the Sustainability Subsidy Scheme for Owners' Association (SVVE) if the VvE has the insulation measures carried out. This also applies to VvEs with rental properties, but there must be at least one owner/resident. Additional rules apply to rental properties in connection with European state aid. You must apply for the subsidy before the start of implementation. As a homeowners' association, you can receive a subsidy from the RVO for all insulation measures included in this action. The subsidy for an insulation measure is an amount per m2 . These amounts double with 2 measures. These must be carried out within 24 months. The RVO sets minimum requirements for the surface that you must insulate. The minimum surfaces apply per apartment multiplied by the number of apartments. Measures must be carried out by a contractor/installer. You will not receive a subsidy for extensions to the homes. Pay attention to the reporting codes of the materials used.

Owner

The Subsidy Scheme for Sustainability and Maintenance of Rental Homes (SVOH) is for both private landlords and institutional investors. The condition is that the property is already rented out before the implementation of the insulation measures begins. As a landlord, you can receive a subsidy from the RVO for all insulation measures taken in This action includes a subsidy for an insulation measure is an amount per m2.
